Established in April 2010, Goshala rescues cows and provides them loving care at a farmhouse where they retire and die naturally. We feed hay and stay away from chemicals and hormones. Cows are milked by hand. Kids and adults visit on weekends and get an opportunity to pat and feed hay, banana, carrots. Thus, a bond is developed which grows into love and harmony in society- away from cruelty.
Goshala organizes events throughout the year which attract a larger number of people besides raising funds. Festival of colors 'Holi' has been organized at Kiwanis Park in Tempe with attendance around 2000. Playing with dry and wet colors, food, music, fun, and interacting with our cows and calves. Goshala volunteers share food with about 200 needy, homeless at Watkins Family Shelter every quarter.
Our partners help make all of these events possible. Through their generous funding and patronage, Goshaala is able to thrive and be where it is at today.
